My Top 4 Goals For 2010

Another year has passed and for most people this marks another chance for them to think of the resolutions and goals they will make for the coming year. Having this blog allows me to share my bigger goals for 2010 and im also sharing it so that I will be held accountable at the end of the year to what I said I would achieve. A new year marks a fresh start for all of us so we need to take full advantage of this time. Here is how im going to take advantage of my time.

1.Make $100,000 In Online Income This Year

• Develop An Iphone App – This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. With the increasing growth and popularity of the Iphone and what seemed like endless TV ads at christmas. It’s a good idea to cash in on the growth with Iphone applications. I doubt I’ll be developing the Iphone app myself although Id love to learn how to do it. A huge positive to this is that once you’ve developed your app the profits will be passive. Im also thinking of developing an Iphone app for this blog so it will be excited to develop some apps and see the results.

• Niche Websites and Products – For the first few months of the year I’ll be making one to three a niche sites and products. Then building them up to the top of the SERPS, converting well and making sure the sites continue to bring in money each month. PPC will also be taking a strong hold in marketing and I’ll be focusing a lot of attention on this too.

• Domain Development – I have 4 domains that I will be developing in 2010. I’ll be updating ye on the progress I have with these sites.

• Currency and Futures Trading – Financial trading will play a big part in reaching my money target. This will be taking up all my mornings but it’s very important and profitable to trade so I’ll have to include it here and focus heavily on it. I’ll be trading currencies, specifically the GPY/JPY and over the next few months trading futures. This is also a kind of secret surprise I’ll be sharing with everyone so stay tuned over the coming months.

• Blogging – I’ll be focusing a lot of attention on BlaineBlogger this year. I’ll be setting a lot of targets to aim for so some of the targets will be to build up my RSS and email subscribers to a thousand each, to write and publish 250 blog posts and increase my SEO rankings to reach 300 visitors a day. A custom redesign will be in the cards too and It’ll be one of my favourite goals to complete.

2.Gain 30 Pounds

Gaining weight has always been a failure for me. No matter what I eat I don’t put on weight but this year I won’t try to eat my way to gaining weight, I’ll build my way to gaining weight. It will take the full year to gain 30 pounds, a lot of sweat and a lot of working out and commitment. This goal might be the most challenging for me in terms of endurance, commitment and sticking to a plan but as the saying goes “No pain, no gain”.

3.Learn French

“Je ne parle pas francais bien” which I think means “I don’t speak french well” and is exactly why I need to learn it. There a number of ways to learn french but I’ll be focusing on using livemocha.com, rosetta stone software and my friends who speak french. If you know any good websites or services where I can improve my very limited french give me a buzz by emailing me or tweeting me.

4.Learn How To Play The Guitar

Being a person who can’t play a single instrument except maybe the recorder. It would be nice to be able to play guiter and that’s what im going to do. It will take patience to learn but I’ve got time to burn.

It’s 4 o’clock in the morning so I’ve been up for a long time thinking of my 2010 goals so now there’s only one final question. What are your goals and resolutions for 2010?
